Why we started Micromerch

Hi, my name is Gary Darna, the founder of Micromerch. After more than a decade of working at startups and Fortune 500 companies to make and sell merchandise online, I believe it's become increasingly unsustainable despite technological advances.

We make merchandise in faraway factories. We photograph products in studios charging up to $100 per image. We pay large sums of money to make our online stores look great. And when something is shipped, we often use single-use plastic mailers and incur hidden fees from third-party logistics companies.

You can hire full-time employees internally to handle all of these operating requirements, or, you can rely on an experienced partner that becomes an extension of your team without the costs of additional headcount. That's us!

What types of products can you make?

Micromerch specializes in creating branded merchandise made of sustainable materials, but we can help you source a great manufacturing partner for just about any product.

Can you manage my online store?

Yes! In fact, we can even design and configure the entire store for you to ensure a best-in-class e-commerce experience for your customers. Micromerch is a member of the Shopify Partners program, but we also have experience with BigCommerce and online marketplaces.

Do you offer product photography?

We sure do! As part of our full-service subscription, we provide beautiful high-resolution imagery of your products. Great product photography is table-stakes for a great e-commerce experience today.

Do you make merchandise for attendees of events?

We can! We've created branded merchandise for business conferences, company retreats, and other in-person events.

What brands do you offer?

Do I need to sell merchandise to work with you?

Not at all! Many of our customers use their branded merchandise as gifts. Whether the recipients are your colleagues or Twitter followers, we can help you make and ship physical products worldwide.

Can I send you my existing merchandise?

Absolutely! With few exceptions, we are happy to coordinate with your team to store any existing inventory you have in our secure facility.

Can you send welcome packages to my new hires?

Can do! We'll help you curate the products, oversee their manufacturing, design custom packaging and ship them anywhere in the world.

What shipping methods do you use?

We work with numerous carriers depending on the size and destination of an order, but UPS and USPS are the ones we use most frequently. This is due to volume pricing and the reliability of these carriers' services overall.

Where are you located?

Micromerch is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio which coincidentally is a great place to live and work as your ecommerce operators. Our central location in the United States makes it a great place to store and ship your merchandise from, ensuring fast delivery times nationwide.
